Rubi Gutierrez is a licenced Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant ("RCIC-IRB"), licence number R706540. She holds the highest licence issued to RCICs, Class L3 – RCIC-IRB – Unrestricted Practice. As such, she is licenced to represent clients before IRCC, CBSA and in all levels of Canadian immigration tribunals of the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada ("IRB"), which include the Refugee Protection Division, Refugee Appeal Division, Immigration Division and the Immigration Appeal Division.

 

Her career in immigration started in 2014, assisting some of the best immigration lawyers of the country in Calgary and Vancouver. Her employment as an immigration paralegal at Stewart Sharma Harsanyi and Edelmann & Company gave Rubi an in-depth amount of knowledge and experience required to complete complex immigration, refugee and citizenship applications, including Canadian Supreme Court applications.

 

In 2018, Rubi completed the immigration practitioner program at the University of British Columbia and went on to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants ("CICC"). She founded her immigration firm in April 2021.

As an immigrant herself, Rubi understands how overwhelming and intimidating immigration processes can be. She also understand the satisfaction that comes with obtaining Canadian citizenship. This personal journey has made her passionate about helping others make Canada their permanent home in a compassionate and understanding way.

 

Rubi is fluent in both English and Spanish as she was born in Mexico and grew up in the United States. However, she accepts clients from all over the world and looks forward to being part of their personal Canadian immigration journey.
